Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Yasmine Hammamet

Currently in our second week of a 14 day holiday.
We have been very impressed with the hotel. The standard of decor and finish is truly exceptional from the beautiful grounds which are well maintained, large pool, numerous fountains and other water features and carefully tended beach to the large suites.
Some Tunisian hotels are described as 5 star but in reality are 4 star. This hotel is proper 5 star standard.
The breakfast is extensive although could be expanded to include more delicacies such as fish and Prosecco.
All of the staff especially at the pool and beach have been friendly and attentive.
The local area has plenty of good restaurants but avoid the tacky new Marina area which is full of Benidorm type Brits.

I stayed for a short solo holiday where I was willing to pay a little bit more and not worry about food and cleanliness. At about £125 per night for half board, Hasdrubal was perfect. Staying at the end of September, the weather was just under 30° every day. The place was quiet, so none of the usual nonsense trying to get a sun lounger by the pool or on the beach - loads to be had. The beach was well kept fine sand with the depth in the water clear and staying relatively shallow for a good way out. On the half board I had the option of the buffet or two a la carte menus. Plenty of local and international options. Breakfast was the standard range of buffet options, plus omelette made to order.
I went for the cheapest room option with a junior suite and it was a good size with large walk in shower and full bath.

The only gripe I had was the mattress was very firm. After my first night I asked at reception if something could be done. I was assured to they would do something, but that might I couldn't detect any difference. For only four nights it wasn't worth making a fuss. I would love to come back for an longer stay, but only if a soft mattress was guaranteed in advance.

Half board only appeared to be available booking direct with the hotel's website, so that's the route for the best price and value for money.

The location is simply ideal: close to the beach, shops and main sites of interest, while remaining quiet.The rooms are spacious and offer a beautiful living space, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The bedding is of excellent quality — comfortable mattresses, soft pillows, we sleep there like on a cloud!But what really makes the difference is the staff: a rare kindness and professionalism. Always available, smiling, caring, they make the stay warm and personalized. A big thank you to the whole team for their exceptional welcome!We recommend eyes closed and will return with great pleasure.

I was invited to a business dinner for around 20 people in the outdoor restaurant at Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Yasmine Hammamet, and it was a wonderful evening. The service was super: attentive, friendly and well organized for a large group. The food was amazing, and the buffet offered a wide variety of different dishes, so there was something for everyone. To top it off, there was an amazing singer who made the evening even more special. I highly recommend this hotel for business dinners and group events!

Advantages: The pool area, the access and the beach facilities are great. Very quiet hotel. Disadvantages: Previous information is missing, about their restaurants, menu, prices etc

Advantages: I stayed at the hotel for 10 days,I liked the style of its decoration, as in an oriental fairy tale, plus they give me a fruit basket as a compliment upon check-in,the staff was polite and friendly,cleaning was twice a day and every evening they came to change towels, plus they gave me several liters of water a day for free, the first line of the sea,the sea it was warm and transparent, there were no intrusive offers like to buy something or take excursions, this is also a plus, for dinner I ordered food directly to the room (at prices fish is about 15 euros, pasta is about 17-20 euros, shrimp is 21 euros)the food is delicious, you could choose from the menu, the choice is really not very big, but I liked everything.The territory is green and well maintained, there is a bar on the beach with wifi, prices are reasonable Disadvantages: There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste

The setting is pleasant and well maintained, the standing corresponds to what is expected of the establishment.The service is of good quality: the staff is attentive, whether at the beach (umbrellas prepared, mattresses cleaned regularly) or at the pool, with an efficient service for drinks and snacks collations.La the restaurant is very good, both in the pool restaurant and indoors. I had a great stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it! Honestly, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the establishment. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and the atmosphere is really nice.

The food is delicious, with a lot of choices and very good quality. The sea and the beach are magnificent, which makes the stay even more pleasant.

For me, it is clearly one of the best hotels that I discovered in Hammamet in 2026. A very nice experience that I will not hesitate to repeat. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful stay.
